Demonstration of Rainwater Harvesting for Drinking Purposes

The department of Biotechnology, Brainware University organized an outreach activity on Rainwater Harvesting for drinking purposes on 16th May, 2022. The program was organized at Kotra Gram Panchayet Office, Kotra village, Barasat.

Mainly the local villagers along with some members of adjacent Panchayet office were present in the program. Approximately 70 people were gathered to hear about the utilization of Rainwater for different purposes.

The whole program was coordinated by Dr. Sayantan Ghosh, HOD, Department of Biotechnology, BWU. The filtration process of harvested rainwater was demonstrated using ppt slides. The interactive session was concluded with the appreciation from the audience.
